Project Background:
DDJ started this program in December 2007 with funding support of PKSF. The main feature of this assignment was to provide housing materials and construction of house for the cyclone Sidr affected people in 6 districts namely Pirojpur, Bagerhat, Jalokathi, Borguna, Gopalgonj & Barisal.
The DDJ Staff were responsible for identification of most vulnerable people who lost their houses for the cause of cyclone Sidr, assessment of their needs related to housing & shelter, made the priority list, distribute housing materials and support to build their house.
Duration: December 2007 to December 2011.

Project Goal: To rehabilitate the cyclone Sidr affected group members.
Objective of the Project: The goal of the project is to restore the houses of the cyclone Sidr affected group members.
Project Participants: Cyclone Sidr affected group members who loose their houses.

Project Title: Rehabilitation of Sidr affected Coastal Fishery, Small Business and Livelihood Enterprise (RESCUE)
Project Background:
DDJ started this project with an aim to rehabilitate the cyclone Sidr affected people who were engaged in coastal fishery through providing various livelihoods options. The DDJ staff supported the Sidr affected people to identify their livelihoods options, distribute the material (e.g. net, poultry, livestock, seeds, etc) & soft-ware (training & follow up) support services to them to manage the livelihoods options in a sustainable manner.
Duration: December 2007 to continuing.

Project Goal: The goal of this project is to rehabilitate the cyclone Sidr affected marginalized farm owner (Duck, poultry, cow and goat rarer), shrimp farmer, fishermen group and small entrepreneur etc.
Objective of the Project:
1. The general objective of this project is to contribute to the restoration/restart of the livelihoods of the targeted group members by providing flexible loan support.
